The proposed building is a 5-storey mixed-use development with 33 affordable residential rental units and one commercial laundromat. The units are serviced by 12 structured parking spots below the building and 8 parking spots exterior to the building. Interior and exterior amenity spaces and rooftop terraces provide residents with many options for hosting friends and family.

Ample provisions for secure bike parking offer opportunities to residents to engage in active modes of transportation through the Fergus and Elora downtown shops and trails. The building design resonates with the context of historic downtown Fergus and features a classic rhythm of large commercial store front windows at grade with traditional punch windows for units above.

As one of few accessible residential buildings proposed for downtown Fergus, we are excited to see this project head into construction.
